As God saw the blood flow from Christ's side, His anger flowed
out of Him, lsa. 53:11
IV. NO RECOGNITION IN THE SANCTUARY... Heb. 9:7
A. The Barrier of the Old Testament...the vail.
Only the High priest could go back once a year and he must
have blood or die.
B. The Blessing of the New Testament...Because Christ
ascended and offered His blood, we now have a standing
invitation to come boldly to the throne of grace... Heb. 4:16
V. NO RETAINING OF OUR SALVATION...
A. There is conversion cleansing...Rev. 1:5
This is when God saves us, he washes our sins away.
B. There is continuous cleansing...! John 1:7-9, This is wrought as
Christians:
1. walk in the light... I John 1:7
2. confess our sins... I John 1:9
VI. NO RISING WITH THE SAVIOUR...
When Christ comes back, He will not be looking for baptismal
certificates, BUT FOR HIS OWN BLOOD.
