I FIND NO FAULT IN HIM

John 1:29; John 19:1-15

Intro: Notice some who have found no fault in Christ.

A. His Father found no fault in Him, Matt. 3:17

B. His Friends found no fault in Him, I John 3:5

I Peter 2:22; Hebrews 4:15; II Cor. 5:21

C. His Foes found no fault in Him, Pilate, John 19:4; Judas, Matt.

27:3-4; Thief, Luke 23:39

D. His Followers down through the years, and I personally join their

cry "I FIND NO FAULT IN HIM..."

 

I. BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD...John 1:29

(Here I find no fault in His Redemption)

This consists of:

A. The Reconciling of the Sovereign, Col. 1:20

B. The Remission of our sins, Heb. 9:22

C. The Releasing from Satan...John 8:36

 

II. BEHOLD THE MAN-.John 19:5

(Here I find no fault in His Representation)

As our Representative (High Priest) He was:

A. Appointed by Sovereign Choice...Heb. 5:6

B. Approved by Scriptural Credentials...Matt. 5:17-18

C. Activated by the Saint's Cry...l John 1:9; 2:1-2

 

III. BEHOLD YOUR KING...John 19:14

(Here I find no fault in His Rulership)

He has the right to be our Ruler.

A. He has Sovereign Rights

He created us... John 1:1-3

B. He has Scriptural Rights-

He bought us...I Cor. 6:19-20

C. He wants Surrendered Rights-

He deserves them...Phil. 2:5-11

Again, I want to go on record by saying that I find No Fault in Him as my

Redeemer, Representative, and Ruler.
